The Relationship Between Manas and Vijñāna

Who is the dream-maker? Based on what are dreams created? Who is lost, unable to distinguish between the dream state and reality? Why are there so many secrets in the subconscious? Where do these secrets come from? Why does consciousness have no secrets? The manas manages the treasury of the Tathagatagarbha, watching over it, while consciousness manages the treasury of the manas, guarding the manas. It’s quite intriguing. The guarded possess treasures, and the guardians enjoy those treasures. The guarded are the masters, wielding great utility, while the guardians are servants who depend on their master for sustenance.
