The Grace and Virtue of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas (II)

For a drop of kindness received, one should repay it with a gushing spring. Yet for the gushing-spring kindness of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, can we repay even with a single drop? So many people do not reflect on the kindness and virtue of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, but instead slander the Three Jewels, turn against their good teachers, and treat beneficial friends as enemies and adversaries. Those who know neither gratitude nor righteousness will cut off the great path of liberation and forever suffer the torment of the three lower realms.
