All dharmas in the three realms are the illusions of a magician.

The myriad dharmas of the three realms are existent; this existence, on the surface, appears to be real and to have functions. But in essence, these existent dharmas are like what a magician conjures up, and moreover, the magician must be conjuring them at every moment, every second, every instant. Once the magician stops his mental activity and ceases to conjure, all existence instantly vanishes, leaving nothing behind. Therefore, all dharmas belong to the magician, all dharmas are the magician's doing, and all dharmas are held in the magician's grasp; the magician represents all dharmas, yet the magician himself is not all dharmas—but where there is the magician, there are all dharmas. Since all dharmas are the magician's doing, then within the existence of all dharmas, the magician can be found. Who is this magician? How does he conjure the myriad dharmas?
