Worship Can Delay One's Own Spiritual Practice.

If a Buddhist practitioner lacks rationality and wisdom, harbors a mentality of worshipping famous people and their reputations, likes to memorize the writings of celebrities, and does not engage in one's own contemplation, then one's own thinking and train of thought will easily be restricted and obstructed, and even in future lives and the lives after those, it will be very difficult to break through these restrictions and obstructions, merely delaying one's own progress on the Path — how regrettable that would be!
