The Semblance Prajñā Cultivated Before Enlightenment Cannot Lead to Liberation.

Some people hope to train themselves in daily life to give rise to the mind without abiding anywhere, but without enlightenment, without having seen the mind that truly abides nowhere, no amount of training will ever succeed. This is a matter for after enlightenment; before enlightenment it cannot be done. Before enlightenment, one can only suppress one's own mind and cultivate a semblance of prajñā; however similar a semblance may be to the real thing, it is still not the real thing, and it cannot bring liberation.
