The Transformation of Body and Mind Is a Major Sign of Realization.

Why does realization involve a transformation of body and mind, and why is the transformation of body and mind a major, obvious, and clear-cut sign? Because from beginningless kalpas in the past all the way to beginningless kalpas in the future, the world of body and mind has been controlled and regulated by the manas. When the manas's cognition transforms, its views transform, and its wisdom transforms, the world of body and mind will correspondingly transform as well. The reactions of body and mind are the barometer of the manas: the venting of the manas's emotions, the expression of its thoughts, and so on are all revealed through the body and mind. If the manas's thoughts undergo some kind of shock, it will inevitably simultaneously drive and affect the world of body and mind, triggering a chain reaction in body and mind.
